Code Camp is a learning and hacking experience. The code camp approach can be defined as a collaborative learning setting that aims to promote profession-oriented skills. In code camp, the term camp refers to a situation where students assemble and stay a while together. The term code refers to coding, i.e. writing computer programs. During a code camp, students write programs together, solve problems related to their work together, eat together and even might relax together in a sauna.

• The course is held after the LUT Summer School. The theme matches with the Information Technology section of the Innovation Management in Practice. You can first go to the summer school and then to this code camp. (But the summer school is not mandatory)

• .NET tutorial lectures will be from 09:00 to 16:00 on 19th and 20th in computer lab 6216
  • Learn web application and web service development
  • Silverlight will help put that final polish and impressive graphics on your web application development
• There will be Imagine Cup briefing and idea brainstorming session on the same week as the .NET Tutorial lectures
  • 17th Tuesday 12:15 - 16:00, class class YO-204 (student union building, second floor)
  • Get more ideas
  • Fine-hone your idea with others
  • Hear suggestions and a lecture from an innovation professional

• Innovation and idea brainstorming session: 17th Tuesday afternoon, class YO-204 (student union building, second floor) from 12:15 to 16:00
• .NET and Silverlight tutorial lectures: 09:00 to 16:00 on 19th and 08:30 to 15:30 20th, computer lab 6216
• Actual Code Camp from 23rd to 27th
• Brief Group Project presentations in the Skinnarilan Sauna, starting at 17:15 on Monday 23rd. The sauna is warm from 18:00.

The Imagine Cup will also have a Windows Phone semifinals in Finland this year. There'll be a WP7 tutorial session Monday 23rd.
